The French due diligence law after five years of implementation: (in)effectiveness, (un)accountability and (in)justice?

On 15-16 May 2024 the Asser Institute and Wageningen University law group (through the REBALANCE Horizon Europe Project) are jointly organising a conference to take stock of the first five years (2018-2023) of implementation of the French law.

The conference will bring together academics from different disciplines (law, economics, management studies, sociology), as well as practitioners from civil society and French corporations who are directly engaged in the implementation of the law. The main objective of the conference is to look back at the five years of implementation of the French law.
