Beyond State-Centric Approaches: Corporate Actors in the Rule of Law Landscape

On the 12th of March, Olena Uvarova, Postdoctoral Researcher at the Wageningen University, presents the Rebalance project findings at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights & Oxford Business and Human Rights Network

This presentation introduces a novel approach to conceptualizing and assessing corporate actors’ impact on the rule of law across different societies. Moving beyond traditional state-centric perspectives, Dr. Uvarova will present the methodology for the Corporate Actors and the Rule of Law Index, developed from a reimagined approach derived from the World Justice Project’s Rule of Law Index.
