The Business & Human Rights Summer School aspires to provide a frame of understanding of the main challenges concerning the intersection between business activities and human rights, with particular attention to the role and obligations of States and of corporations, as well as to recent and emerging human rights-related legislation regulating corporate activities worldwide, and to the access to effective remedies for victims of corporate-related human rights abuses.
The Summer School provides the participants with up-to-date insights into the business and human rights international debate, analysing in depth the content and implications of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and introducing the audience to the current discussion of an international business and human rights treaty.
