A talk by Jesse Bloemendaal, member since 2018 of the Fair Wear External Relations, where he is responsible for the coordination of the policy and advocacy tracks at international and European level.
One of the aims of Fair Wear is to have a smart mix of measures that ensures decent working conditions for garment workers. As part of that mission, the organisation sees European due diligence legislation as an essential start of that smart mix. Jesse’s prior work experience includes positions in international trade & sustainable supply chain development and labour unions.
